Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of southernsolarconnect.com. By using the site or submitting the quote form you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who we are
SouthernSolarConnect is an independent introduction and matching service that connects Hampshire homeowners with vetted, third-party solar installers. We are not a solar installer, and we do not carry out surveys, quotes, or installations ourselves.
Instant estimate
The instant solar estimate shown on this site is exactly that — an estimate. It's based on general regional solar data, typical UK residential systems, and the postcode you enter. It is not a guaranteed figure. Your actual generation, savings, and payback will depend on a full site survey by an installer and your household's energy use.
Submitting the quote form
By submitting the quote form, you consent to your details being shared with a single matched, MCS-certified installer so they can prepare a free, no-obligation quote. Full details of how we handle your data are in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party installers
Installers we match you with are independent businesses. We check that each installer is MCS-certified and insured before including them, but we are not responsible for their work, pricing, timelines, or conduct. Any contract for a solar installation is between you and the installer directly, and any dispute should be raised with them in the first instance.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site only for genuine solar enquiries and not to submit false information, use the site to send unsolicited messages, attempt to disrupt or overload it, or copy or scrape its content for commercial use without permission.
Limitation of liability
The site and estimates are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, reliance on an estimate, or your dealings with an installer. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
